I run dancehall in Ghana; my song is Number 1 & my fellow dancehall artistes are even looking up to me – Stonebwoy tells OnStage TV in Jamaica



Multiple award-winning dancehall act, Stonebwoy is currently in Jamaica and yes, as part of his schedule, he granted an interview to top Jamaican music and arts TV, OnStage TV.
When asked by the host, Winford Williams about dancehall in Ghana and his level, he said,
“Ghana music I would say, I am at a point where everybody is looking up to me; from my predecessors and even my fellow young artistes. At this point, I represent the Reggae, Dancehall & Afrobeats that everybody is gravitating to that energy right now – with the lyrics, the melody and the vibe and i run dancehall in Ghana”.
He continued,
“I am not the only Reggae/Dancehall artiste in Ghana, but I can say my song is number 1 in my country, Ghana, and 7th on the MTV Africa list and that meant huge; the whole West Africa, my song, Enkulenu is the 7th song on the chat. I’ve even won BET Award & Others.”
 Stonebwoy right there showering praises on himself.
Stonebwoy has been nominated in multiple categories in this year’s VGMAs and is set to release his 4th album soon.
