Ekikmi hit Maker Wisa Greid has hit on fellow industry colleague
Atom, by saying Atom’s song Y3 wo Kurom is not Original but a copy of
Gasmilla’s song Telemo hence making Y3 wo Kurom a mixtape, and doesn’t
make the song eligible for any award.
The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominee, says he deserves the most
popular song of the year as well as the New Artiste of the year because
his song ‘Ekiki me’ is original and was well produced.
He was speaking in an interview with Kasapa Fm’s Court correspondent,
Daakyehene Ofosu Agyeman after his court proceedings at the Accra
circuit court. He is currently standing trail for indecent exposure in
public.
If we all can recall, Wisa did the weirdest thing as a performing
act, while he was performing at the December 2 remember concert last
year. He pulled out his manhood on stage and “grinded” a lady dancer(
yeah sometimes when the second head is awake men tend to do crazy
things).
Wisa Greid has been nominated in 4 categories in this year’s VGMA’s,
he is in the category for New Artiste of the year, Hiplife song of the
year, Best collaboration of the year and Most popular song of the year.
But did Wisa also deserve to be nominated for an award after his
disgraceful act last year? I personally do not think he should have
been nominated for any award, it is my opinion though
