Highlife music dates back from the 1920’s and it is one of the genres of music from Ghana. The Genre is rooted with authentic African beats and with cultural values.
Nikil World have taken it upon themselves to produce the maiden Edition of the Highlife Music Awards. This is to celebrate African Highlife legends and motivate the young acts that have taken the mantle and pushing the genre to the world.
The Awards night is slated to be held annually and will feature performances by artistes and exclusive highlight exhibition.
This year’s event would take place at the National Theater this month.
