Now, I have you. You are finally out here with us.
Tears run down my cheeks as you let out a loud cry; it's all joy. I am reminiscing nine moons ago and nine months down the lane. I am having flashbacks of the times I was desperate for you, we needed you to be complete.
I always envisioned a day like this with your father; he is a gentle soul, a very good heart. He couldn't wait to hold you and touch your nose and tickle you to get the laughter he wants.
Looking at your face now and trying to see what your eyes look like or whom you might have taken after; I want you to know that, your father might have tripped a couple of times before or may trip someday. Just know that he has flaws and so do I. You have one too, we are humans. We have learnt to understand each other's flaws and try to work things out always.
Son, that is what has brought us this far, it has kept us together and has woven our hearts together.
Trip, fall as much as life brings it to you but don't stay down forever; stand back on your feet each time and try to identify your weaknesses. When you do, embrace them and make them work for you. We are always here for you, we are a team now and we will never cease to coach you.
Learn to understand the people you will soon meet, don't be quick to judge them when things go wrong. It's a great error. Help us to understand you so as to guide your steps and the things you will do; most importantly, watch your tongue and mind what you say. Words are very powerful. They can influence anything.
You are the joy millions sort after, we will celebrate you everyday.
As we have cried together today, let us laugh together forever. You are the very pulse of our heart beat;
And we will love you son even if love fades away and time is no more.
